Matt wants Alex's job, and Below Deck's deck team is splitting

Alex Wright is still the bosun on Below Deck season 13, but lead deckhand Matthew Fitzpatrick-Buck has made it clear he would do the job, Reality Tea reports.

It matters because Captain Kerry Titheradge has already warned he will make changes if the deck does not improve.

In episode 4, Matt went to the wheelhouse to point out Alex's shortfalls and offered to step up, though Reality Tea notes he never asked for the job outright. The list against Alex so far includes the lost jet-ski harness, forgotten towels and trouble docking.

Who is in the wrong?

Bravo's episode 5 preview has Alex calling Matt out on the way home from a crew night out, an argument over work and authority. Chief stew Fraser Olender calls the way Matt speaks to Alex "very disrespectful".

A deck at war is slow, and slow costs tips.
