Captain Kerry says this Below Deck season brings changes the show has never seen

Captain Kerry Titheradge told Us Weekly that Below Deck season 13, which premiered on Bravo on 12 October, will bring "some changes that I don't think we've ever seen on Below Deck before".

The season puts his crew on the motor yacht Azul V off Phuket, the show's first time back in Thailand since 2019, with chief stew Fraser Olender and second stew Rainbeau de Roos returning.

What makes Thailand different?

Kerry called it "the country of smiles" and told Us Weekly it was a very different experience from the Caribbean and Norway. The hard part, he said, was weather that turns quickly with little warning.

What was the biggest challenge on board?

An older vessel he had to "baby" through the charter season, he said. Bravo's own premiere coverage shows why: the boat starts on compressed air, with three starts a tank.

Does the captain set the mood?

"Everything comes from the top, right?" he told Us Weekly, adding that a captain's stress filters through the whole crew. To Bravo Insider he described the season as one "focused on growth and coming together".

Kerry is not saying which decisions he would take back. The season will.
