Marryam Chehelnabi joins John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla
MAFS 2027 has a new expert. Nine has confirmed Marryam Chehelnabi will sit beside John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla when season 14 starts.
Early reports had Dr Lurve in the seat. It's Marryam.
She steps in after the loss of Mel Schilling, who died in March. Mel was part of every dinner party and every commitment ceremony for a decade, and we'll miss her on that couch.
Our take
A new expert means new reads on every couple. Some brides and grooms who'd have got a soft landing last year won't this time, and some couples John would have written off might get a second look.
MAFS 2027 is filming in Sydney now, and it's on Nine early next year.
