Season 8 has a twist we did not see coming. A group of past winners and favourites, reportedly called The Power Couples, is heading back to the villa.

The names so far: Claudia and Austen, Kale and Tyra, and Kye and Yana.

## The big question

Are they there to play, or to pull the strings? Nine hasn't said. Either way, a couple who has already survived a recoupling knows exactly what a text from the villa means.

We'd put money on the new singles going straight to the Power Couples for advice. We'd put more on that advice being very strategic.
