# Signing in and your account

> No password needed. Your email gets a code, and that's you in.

## Signing in

Tap Continue with email and enter your address. We email you a code; type it in and you're in. If it's a new email, that same code creates your account, so there's no separate sign-up.

Didn't get it? Check your spam folder, then use Send a new code once the timer runs out.

If you set a password, you can choose Use password instead. Forgot it? Forgot password? Email me a code gets you back in.

## Logging out

Go to Settings, then Sign-in and security:

- Log out signs out this device.
- Log out of all devices signs out every phone, tablet and browser at once. You can sign straight back in with your email.

## Your nickname and photo

Your nickname is how people find and mention you. You can change it in Settings, but only once in a while, so people can still find you. The app tells you when you can change it next.

To change your photo, pick one and drag it to frame it. If a photo won't open, save it as a JPEG and try again.
