# What boosters do

A booster goes on one question in a contest. There are three:

- Bonus wheel spins a multiplier onto that call.
- Crowd peek shows you how everyone else is calling it.
- Shield counts a miss on that question as a hit anyway.

## Paying for a booster

Most boosters cost a token. Some are free, and some have a price in coins or gems; the booster tray shows which before you use one.

Tokens refill one at a time, up to a limit. The tray shows how many you have and when the next one arrives. Once you're full the refill stops, so it pays to spend them.

## Changed your mind?

You can take a booster back off a question before you lock in, and the token comes back to you.
